PPF VS CERAMIC

Read across. Pick the one that fits the car you actually drive.

Paint protection film

What it protects against: Rock chips, road debris, light scuffs, scratches that would otherwise reach the paint.
Where it goes: Full front, full vehicle, or rocker panels. Self-healing top layer on premium films.
How long it lasts: Seven to ten years on a quality film. Warranty in writing.
When it makes sense: New or recently-painted vehicles, high-mileage commuters, anything you plan to keep five-plus years.

Ceramic coating

What it protects against: UV, contaminants, water spots, fading, mild oxidation. Easier to keep clean.
Where it goes: Full vehicle paint, optionally wheels, glass, trim. Bonded to the clear coat.
How long it lasts: Two to five years depending on the package. Warranty in writing.
When it makes sense: Daily drivers, sun-exposed parking, owners who care about gloss but live within a tighter budget.

Single-layer ceramic on full vehicle paint. Two-year written warranty.
